Hi, anyone have eVGA GeForce 6800 nu 128mb and tried to OC it ?
I tried to OC it and no matter what clock/mem setting i choose i get error message.
Let me know what is the potential of this card for OC .
I get 576/801 and it runs for hours with no probs.

576? , think you mean 376
wow, 376? That's beyond the GT. Is that good for the card in the long term?
Well there's really no difference between cores (other than disabled pipelines). If it does it, it does it.
Doesn't seem to run any hotter than standard clock.

I bought an eVGA Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT last week from the Micro Center in Altanta, Georgia for $399. They had about ten of them on the shelf. Newegg and everyone else were ripping everone off on the Internet big time. I replaced my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and never looked back. I downloaded the Nvidia drivers 61.77 and installed. Next I downloaded the Windows XP registry hack called "COOLBITS 2" and then the extra tab to overclock was added to the Nvidia Video Driver Screen. I overclocked my GT to the Ultra speed which is 400 MHz on the core and the memory is at 1.10 GHz. The eVGA is running at a warm 55 C when gaming. The eVGA GT is a very good overclocker. That's what I read on the Internet and that's why I got one.
