practically none at all. remember when dx8 was beta. it only offered 1-2 fps difference. same with dx9.

No more beta's for me when it comes to M$. I had that XP SP1 beta installed and found that they made it near impossible to update components of directx that were out of date and possibly the cause of some video/ sound stuttering.
