I dont mind a two PCI slot design at all if the second is used to expel air from the case. With 6800's as hot as they are something like this would be ideal.

No they do not come retail with an exhaust fan. The fan on the vid card sucks in air to blow over the gpu and that air escapes around the PCB. Ideally, you would have at least one(or two is better) GOOD case exhaust
fan(s) not too far above where the agp slot is on the back of the case.

These cards do not get overly hot. Normal opperating temps are usually no higher then 80-90C under FULL load. If that does concern you, there are MODs that some places offer to use a modified plate on the 6800 slot piece to use for an exhaust. However, it takes the user to cut the 6800 U plate in half using a saw or dremel tool. ALso, its much easier to get something like a vanted dual fan pci card.
