Its more the chipsets... all nforce 3 chipsets should work, via/sis still dont have native sata, so I can understand how it wouldnt work... it would be impossible to boot from sata cd drive in non native chipsets

16x and double layer for under a $100.00. :)
These zboard gaming keysets suck for typing.

$172 is pretty steep for a DVD burner. Yes it has and 8mb cache and SATA, but that's too much.

What do they mean by native SATA only? Nforce3 250GB only? I have SATA on my Nforce3 250 board, but it's an Silicon Image sil3512 controller. Would that work?

Native SATA is a feature of the nf3 250gb chipset.

In other words it would not work with my SIL sata controller? :scarey:

Prolly not cause thatís an intergrated controller :( Don't understand why plextor would make a product for such a limited audience though. Doesn't make much marketing sense to me.

Hey, maybe the 16x DL will be able to be flashed to a 24x then. ;)
