The topic says enough. This is the most fun I've had played an MMORPG, ever. This is the most beautiful game ever. This game has some of the best sound ever. The fact that this is in its beta stages and is far less buggy than many retail MMPORGS speaks volumes for its excellence. The level-up system is flawless. I just walked into Stormwind for the first time today, and got lost inside the city. It's appopriate that it's called a "city" because it's absolutely gigantic and is large enough to be called a city. Everything in the game completely immerses you in the Warcraft world. I can't believe that this game is as good as it is.

OK, that's pretty much all of what I've been thinking so far. Get on your knees and bow down to Blizzard.

w00t!!! I cant wait to get my hands on it. Your right about the cities. In MMORPG's they are just to small to be believable.

Yeah I love the game so far - too bad the stress test is over for me in a few weeks. I sure hope the game doesn't take too much longer to go gold now since it is already this far along.

Tis good. Better than I expected. I'm still not a fan of the cartoony graphics, but the game play is great. I might even play it when it ships. I more of an EQII kinda guy though, so I'll likely play both for a month or so then choose.

I'm haivng fun with it. I'm a first time MMORPGer, and I'm definitely starting to develop an addiction - good thing that Guild Wars starts beta this month. WoW is a good game, but I swore to myself never to pay full price for a game that charges a monthly fee, and I continue to do so to this day.

Guild Wars looks like it'll feed my addiction without hitting my wallet every month - yeah, I'll probably buy the expansions, but at least I can choose not to.

I'll trade an Early beta for an EQ2 beta slot :)..WoW is fun..just not clicking with me for some reason.

By the way, it appears that the stress beta testers are on a different server than us. The PvP server is kinda neat...

How much is WoW going to run monthly?

Most likely $15...that is the going rate for MMORPG's (recently set by SWG)...

I'm having a ton of fun with City of Heroes.

Definately got huge areas, great free updates (the second major one is supposed to hit very soon,) and gameplay much more suited to me than FF11 was (I don't tend to like fantasy in comp games...and I HATED FF11)

This means nothing without some screenshots.

:lame: Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Most people here have seen screenshots for World of Warcraft by now since it's been in development for several years and has been extremely anticipated. If you're really dying for screenshots go to Blizzard's website and look at them. It's not hard to find. If you haven't heard of the game before, you just really, really suck, and should not be posting in a gaming forum. Tool.

I've defently heard of the game before, I've played warcraft games since the first one, I was just asking for real user screenshots, the ones that blizzard have are all suped up and such.

No, they look just like that in the game. Blizzard's shots aren't "suped" up or anything, that's what the game looks like. Besides, I don't think beta testers are allowed to post screenshots.

The game looks the same as the screenshots as far as I can tell. I won't post any pics because I want to be in the open beta test at some point.

Geez, no need to be harsh on bonchez. Anyhow, screens @ blizzard look the same as the actual game, and you don't have to worry about posting screenshots. There is no NDA for WoW last I checked. I'm loving the game, got my warlock up to lvl 10, but I'm probably gonna call it quits and check out another character. Don't want to get too into it, since it all ends in a few days.

Anyone who thinks other MMORPGs aren't worth the CDs they're delivered on (much less $15 a month) really ought to check out City of Heroes :)

Major update #2 should show up this month or next :):):):):)

I've been playing City of Heroes for a while now, and honestly, it's nothing more than mob grinding over and over again. I had loads of fun with it for a little while but I got tired of it after about a month or so, the game just became a chore to play. Character creation was awesome and the power sets are all really cool, but it doesn't mean much if you still have to run around grinding mobs the whole time.

It's the same in any MMO game I've seen. I mean, some other stuff has more out of combat activities, nothing of which I found entertaining...
