Its a bummer dude. That happened to me earlier this year. I forget if you are in the USA or not, which company do you work at? Anyway, there are a few things you have to do this week.

Apply for unemployment benefit right now, you can do it online, the checks start to arrive within two weeks, about half your regular salary, but atleast they pay the bills.

Eliminate any unnecessary bills, second car, mobile phone, cable TV etc. I am employed again and still haven't got cable TV again, you really won't miss it. I kept my cable modem service though, since I used the net for job hunting and downloading my favorite TV shows.

Get your resume on Monster.com. I didn't have any luck with any other online job sites. Monster.com was the only site that actually lead to phone calls.

Make sure you get these three things done before you get too depressed to feel like doing anything.

I've been unemployed for over a year now, it's not as bad as ya think, granted I have a wife that has a nice job, but I get to stay home with my son more, and got to go back to school (all paid for by the big GOV). Look into some helpful services your local unemployment office has to offer...

The real kick in the pants is.....I am the only income for me and my fiance. She's wrapping up her Master's degree and works, only they don't pay her...its for credit hours in order to be certified. As such, EVERY expense comes out of "Sugar-Daddy Sean's" wallet.... :rolleyes:

I'll be trying to be a substitute teacher while I look for a job ( $65 a day...good while my package from work is still alive and kicking ).

The company I worked for was APRISMA Management Technologies. They are the makers of the network software SPECTRUM and used to be Cabletron.....until it split into a few isolated companies.

Ah....my good friend Jose Cuervo......I can now think of 1800 ways to make myself feel better....

Pelly that blows, sucks you lost your job. Hope you find one soon, but anyways, if you have no luck, you can always become a male stripper and work at Chip n'dales, lol, eh, I thought they were squirrels?:p
