View Full Version : Gigabyte 6800ultra clock....?

i have the gigabyte 6800ultra according to the bios on the gigbayte site i sould have 425/1100 clock speed but when i chack with rivatuner i see only 400/1100 can anyone know what is going on here......? how can i check with other program to see my real gpu/memory clock.

You're probably looking at your 2D frequency. RivaTuner has a drop-down menu that will list 3D. You can also install Coolbits (check the Forceware forum for info) and check it there.

Does all geforce 6800ultra have different clock for 2D and 3d....? i install 4 different program to check the clock and 2 program say 425/1100 and 2 say 400/1100 that weird.

Most do. PNY does and Gigabyte probably reports two different speeds. BFG and XFX are the same for 2D/3D.

so if i understand this right gigabyte card do a overclock automatic for 3d just like the BFG 6800ultra OC card so it's a good thing not like other 6800ultra card that just stay at 400/1100 all the time for 2d and 3d.

My EVGA 6800ultra came with the 2D clocked at 400 and the 3D clocked at 425 but EVGA offered a Bios update witch now keeps both the 2D and 3D clocked the same at 425.

i download the gigabyte bios and according to the news bios the card sould be clock to 425/1100 all the time but after i check i see that the card is 400/1100 only at 3d 425/1100 whats wrong here...?
