Hi!

Anyone here using a Asetek waterchill GPU block on a Geforce 6800 card and if so what kind of temperatures are you getting on load and idle?

My temps are: idle 47 C and on load load 50 C.

BTW I'm using a Gainward 6800 Ultra GS card.

(newb)

Which block do you mean, any links?

I've been thinking of getting this one: http://www.dangerden.com/mall2/more_block3.asp?fmmore=237

Looks great and I've heard good things about it. I'd use it with the reserator.

I think the 6800U and GT need stronger cooling for the ram aswell. While the FX5950 also has ram cooling via that green aluminium plate, the 6800 absolutely needs it. That's why the stock coolers extend over the vram chips aswell.

The asetek block is small and doesnt offer the same as the dangerden block that covers the needed areas.
