i'm thinking of getting a new CPU fan for my 3.4Ghz .

i want a color other than blue LED lights though . my case is full of fans with blue lights :D

Im thinking of getting this cpu cooler cuz I will be building a new PC for the wife as hers is getting old and it isnt functioning as good as it used to(1.7P4 with 768MB rambus)....think the mobo or system memory is starting to fail...ie real slow boot ups even with a fresh XP install and different HD.

That cooler can ALSO be used as a case fan too!!!!!!

It did say tho thats it 22.6 dBa(MIN) but your right, it doesnt list max. although it does state that it has adjustable fan speed for low noise and for high performance.

I did a check of various standard looking cpu coolers and they are basically at around 25dBa, but there CFM is generally in the high 20's. This particular fan has a CFM rating of 41.7....quite well above standard cpu coolers.

Pretty nice. I jsut ordered a slew of stuff from Frozencpu.com and voyeurmods.com

Everything I got was either lighted or UV so its gonna light up the interior of her new case quite well heheheh. EL lighted IDE cables......led sata connector....6 led/uv case fans uv purple floppy cable plus that cpu cooler pictured above and of course a nice custom windowed case

Good choice . girls/women get attracted to colored stuff . i bet she gonna like it :thumbsup:

also colored cables are good to track down when you gonna install/uninstall the hardware .
my case is full of wires with same color that i barely reconginze which is going where .
