How much FPS gain with new GPU?

What kind of FPS should i expect in games when my new card arrives?

1. Far Cry
2. Doom 3

Settings i'll start off with are:

61.77 drivers high quality setting
1280-1024
V-Sync off
AA/AF off

Current system specs: 3.2 P4, 1024mb ram, 5900U 256mb.

I'll be replacing my 5900U with a 6800U, Should arrive any day now!!

erm from fx 5950? a whole lot more .....especially with 4X aa and 8X af enabled...maybe 100% in some cases

From my 5950 to 6800GT i got this :

FarCry : went from 1024x768,2xAA,4xAF,PS1.1 (playable fps 30+fps) to 1280x1024,4xAA,8xAF,PS2.0 (playable fps 30+fps)

Doom3 : went from 1024x768,2xAA,8xAF (37fps) to 1600x1200,2xAA,8xAF (47fps)

you do the math ;)

i get at 1024*768 high quality with 2X AA a nice 72,7 fps

Sounds good to me!
I think at the mo i get about 30-40 FPS (maybe) in Doom 3 with my current settings and about 30 in Far Crys outdoor areas.

My res of 1280-1024 will stay the same coz my moniter cant go higher but now i should be able to play with AA and AF without trouble :)

As long as games like Half-life 2, FEAR, and quake 4 run smooth on my new card when they come out i'll be very happy!!!
