Before I flashed my highest OC was 410/1120 before I would start getting artifacts but now Im able to hit 442/1150. The score below was with ram @ 1120! All I did was edit my current bios to adjust the Voltage to 1.4 and raise the stock clocks to 400/1100. I then started Ocing and was suprised by how far I could push this thing. At 440mhz Core I hit 89*C under full load after 20min of RTHDRIBL. Since this was the absolute highest I could OC without artifacts in 3dmark03 I lowered the clocks down 10mhz to 430 but still not a bad increase from 410. For some reason my ram also went up, but Im not fully done testing this yet. So far I have hit 1150 over 1120 and Ive just started. I tested by running 3dmark03 with full AA on and looked for any black triangles and didnt find any yet. Im about to go for a run in Doom 3 since I know its known to really stress OC's on gfx cards. Ill report back with that in a min :D

Before my highest score was 11890. Now I almost got a 1,000 point increase :D

Stupid Doom 3 made me back down my clocks to 425/1150 :( Oh well, Im still getting 15mhz higher on the core and 30mhz on the memory so all is not lost :)

I noticed the same thing on my GT with modified bios. The OC's on the ram sucks. I think when Gainward finally sells the GS GT with 1.6ns ram they will get descent clocks. I can get 455/1.2 on my GT with water cooling. With my 2500+ M clocked to 2700 or so (230x12.5) I get about 12800 onions.

there isnt a need to overclock these new cards. i did it once to see how high i could get my 3dmark03 score and to see how high i could overclock (430 core, 1.15 mem with 1.3volts). but i quickly went back to stock speeds cus its not worth the risk and the performance gains are negligable.

The reason 3dmark01 was crashing for you is cause you are running 1.3V. At 430 your card wouldnt be getting enough juice to stay running.
