hmm, i was just thinking that i haven't seen certain people post in a long time. while checking the member directory, they seem to be gone as well. i assume they were banned.
anyone want to provide a list of nV News members that got the boot ;)
StealthHawk was banned, so was Volt and Saturn.
Matty as well. Hmmmm I think I am banned as well. ;) :D

Matty was banned??? Sat was banned?

I dunno guys, I only remember two bans :)
Maybe JuiceZ knows something about it
If you are banned, please say so on this thread :)
Does being banned fom Nvnews IRC count? If so then yes, I am banned.

Come on guys, I banned myself. I can't unban myself :@
I was peed by Volt's PM until I figured what he ment (at least I hope I figured it out).
Might I add, when giving someone a warning or accusing them of something is it possible to provide proof?
That way I won't have to be peed thinking something else or not remembering the thing I had done wrong. It makes things much easier.

If you can read this, then I can post, and therefore I am not banned. If you can reply, you aren't banned either...
:)

I think there was other 3 banned from nvnews before essence and nazy. I think Matt knows their names, and why they were banned.

The only other one I can think of is nam^ng. He was smart as hell, but he lacked ppl skillz, I don't know if we banned him, or he left voluntarily....

So it's 6 up to now. There are 2 others that you or some other mod wrote once.
BTW, what did this nam^ng did ? Did he jumped into conclusions very fast, said it was easy, or something, and everyone was pissed on that ?

What were respectively the reason for their banishment ? Bad behavior like Nazi, break up the EULA terms as essence ?
I swore deph1le came back but only posted a few times.

That's true but you have to realize who made up the bulk of the people he was insulting--3dfx mouthpieces with a touch of Kyro fanboys thrown in.
The 3dfx mouthpieces for years tried to spread the myth that the introduction of 32-bit color (early Fall 1998/1999) and T&L (late summer 1999/2000) was too early. Instead, more attention should be spent on 16-bit color (1998/1999) and FSAA (1999/-2000).
Too bad the older reviews (including the TNT2 and GF256 reviews) are no longer up at Beyond3D. Those contained examples of 3dfx propaganda camouflage as objective workmanship.
(For those who don't know, the staff on B3D had changed since 1999).
Before Nam left, I seem to recall he was arguing with B3D folks over FSAA.
