After A lot of starting X and reconfiguring XF86Config my GF4200 finally worked RH 8.0 kernel 2.4.18-17.8.0 but only with the twinvieuw option on and ONLY ONE SCREEN WORKS I have a 19' and a 15' the 19' is on the VGA out and the 15' on the DVI out.

It is always the 19' hwo works as left or as right part of my twinview desktop, depending on the twinvieworientation option

So I always get half of the nvidia logo on startup and would like to have a full logo,

Please post your /var/log/XFree86.0.log file so we can see what's going on. First guess - you're not validating any modes for the second head.

thx a lot but I mannaged my problem already,I reduced the refreshrate and horizontalsinc,
sorry, stupid mistake (aren't they all)
