Jesus! I've gotta get a different card! You all's scores are killin' me! And here I was all excited about getting my highest score ever in 3DMark05 with the new 77.72 drivers (even when I used to have it overclocked). *sigh* Well, my lame-ass score is in my sig. *sigh*

Doh, yours is higher. I got 11127 on my first attempt with everything stock. I'll try to publish it later. Right now I'm still trying to get everything installed and checked out.

10148 running it a 1280x1024 4xAA/8xAF

11700 has been my highest so far. I'm using the 77.50s currently so I don't think I can publish my results.

The system is still a work in progress. Not sure I'm completely stable yet. I was fine for a while then I couldn't get my system to boot anymore (no OC'ing going on yet). Had to reset the CMOS and things were fine again.

I finally got around to overclocking (a little) and I was pretty happy with the results. Keep in mind, I do have one of those silly Intel processors.......

Stock Clocks - all settings default - 6777
Overclocked (see sig) - all settings default - 7981 :D

HI, I just built this system:

Asus A8N SLI premium
512mb mem(will put in more later)
7800 gtx x 2 sli mode
Win xp sp2
77.72 dets

With one 7800 i get 8083 on 3dmark 2005
With two 7800's i get 10,431 on 3dmark 2005

Does the SLI score seem low? Only 2000 higher with a second card seems low to me. Could 512 megs be keeping the sli score on the low side?

Whats your CPU ?? .. your score seems to be handicapped by your CPU & RAM.

I just installed 1 gig ram and the SLI score is now 10,500. I guess a 30% increase over nonsli score of 8100 is pretty good.

CPU limited because only one of the cores is doing the work?

Yep because 3DMark05 is single threaded app you wont see much benefit here.

this is crazy. 9284 3dMark05 cpu score with OCed 4400.

playing around with timings made all that difference, this 4400 is a winner.
