I have an evga. Last night while running 3D03, my stystem just locked (no artifacts or anything wrong before it locked)/

Since I was going to repleace the drivers anyways, I uninstalled the 61.77's and have tried like 5 dif drivers. My control panel no longer recognizes my card, and I don't have and Nvidia panel under the advanced tab.

Any ideas? I don't want to rma the card. I've had it since within a day or two since they were released without any problems.

I've had this happen myself with both an AOpen Ti4600, AND an eVGA 6800 GT. I solved the problem by reinstalling Windows.

Download driver cleaner 3 from driverhaven.net and remove nvidia drivers then install the latest drivers.

.

Your card should be fine, sounds like nothing more than a corrupt driver problem.

I've tried all those things (including Driver Cleaner 3). The only thing that fixed it was a Windows reinstall.

A repair might also work, but in my case I just got a BSOD after I tried to boot off of the newly repaired OS.
