I'm trying to get my rig 110% stable after
my new GT install.

I've run into a little problem.

Get this.... I can clock my core up pretty high
with 100% stablity.

But when I crank up the memory speed I get
lockups that reboot my pc.

What I cannot figure is I get no artifacts
or anything. It just locks up.

Do you think I may need a bigger power supply?
I have a 480watt Antec Trueblue.
But I'm also using a Koolance watercooled case...lights.... 3 case fans... 2CD roms...2 harddrives... and some other hardrive coolers and such.

Input please.

480 should be enough. What is the +12Volt rail reporting? Maybe it's a heat issue? Before I got my NV5 my 6800GT wouldnt even do Ultra speeds without locking up even though it never reported over 80c in the temp monitor. Did you try upping the voltage on the core? I think the Ultra runs at 1.4

After more testing it seems I CAN clock the memory to 1.1 or higher no problem.

But the second I try and raise the core up even 5mhz to 375 it will hang
and reboot my system.
It does not do it at the factory 370 core.

Could it be I just have a crappy core?

Your P.S. is fine but do you have your card on it's own +12v rail? Try that, if you don't already.

I thought about that.
I'm going to redo my wiring today.
I'm not sure I have one to put it on by itself though.
