Files are dated 20.9.04 - supports all cards and WHQl is in tact - also setup.exe is inc.

not sure about DV yet.

well my verdict is:

Colour profiles are working fine :-)
got the best 3DMark05 score so far - 4396 :-)
WHQL stamp is in-tact :-)

Not yet tested the 4xAA bug in PainKiller - I'll do that laters.

Scored 4586 in 04. Cant remember the other 66.xx driver score, but it was again in the 4k zone, but they have a problem with cs source, they seem more of a 3dmark driver than a game driver. Everything App control, and all 3 opt turned on. Gonne check out if cs source has that same problem. BBL

These drivers still have those annoying black lines in the ground in CS Source.

They go away once u get close to them. Right now i cbf with another restart so lol ill just have to live with it :(

4xAA even on War3 causes major fps drop..its sitting arround 30-40 fps..even the mouse lag lol..guess i have no choice but to change back. How did these drivers even get WHQL?

microsoft dont test it with games - just with the desktop. besides why would they care if its slow - just as long as it works.

Well i aint using these drivers, pain killer also showed same things...in cs source i didnt feel anything infact the stress test gave me the same score as the 65.73 whql drivers O.o....cauld be just a bug in the driver, something that needs to be cleaned up before they release a next driver, because they are just quiet useless when u use AA/AF :/

Don't use the Aply button.Just go to modify on the upper tab and choose "save as".I reckon that is a bug in there.

That does the exact same thing, it does work anyway.. It just clears the AF/AA options but it does save.

Never seen the black lines in CS: S
I did notice that the 3DMark profiles were gone tho :p

The lines are there in pretty much all the 66.xx drivers. These drivers belong in the graveyard :(. What good are drivers if these only have partial use of them. Funny tho the 4xAA is not affected in cS Source, but its there in Painkiller/War3 big time. It seems the 66.xx drivers are not that good :/ other than for the increase in 3dmark points.

you wont see those profiles in the public release - I'll eat my shorts if you do :-)

This set if as good and as bad as any other 66.xx series driver so far - same AA bug but everything else is fine for me.

I agree, I'm tired of all these UNofficial drivers, I'm tired of running DriverCleaner 3 times a day, I'm tired of running 3dmark03, and I'm REALLY tired of running 3dMark05. I really hate that bench :ORDER: !

I just deleted all those 3Dmarks, all of the unofficial Forceware zips (except :) 65.73:) ), and I went into my registry and deleted everything Futuremark! I'll just keep Aquamark for settings comparisons.

Now, if you'll excuse me I'll be gaming.

i believe nvidia needs to quit there unified drivers and start making drivers for the 6800 series alone, trying to fit crap for the fx and bellow might be taking performance and IQ away from the 6800 series, maybe they can split it up as legacy drivers for the fx and below and just start making separate drivers for the 6800 series

I hate using unofficial drivers, I'm sticking to 61.77 for now, everything works fine for me, no reason to change.

If it's not borken, why try to fix it?
