Does anyong know if Nvidia will still be happily supplying thier chips to companies to produce AGP 6800 U's after christmas? Or is it going to be impossible to find new AGP cards in january.
Is AGP dying that fast?
I just bought an A8V deluxe motherboard, and I have to wait a few months for the cash to get the 6800U. Will it be possible in january?

AGP will be around for years. :)
You should be able to get a good deal after christmas on a 6800u or GT.

This has been discussed numerous times but yes AGP isn't going to be completely phased out anytime soon. We're still using floppy drives for pete's sake! :p

I hear ya.... I HATE them suckers myself. :bash:
But I had to use mine just a week ago.
I flashed my last GT to 1.4 volt.

We need a better way to flash a bios
other than a d@mn floppy drive. :bs:
Floppy disk go bad so often it's not
even funny.

NV will launch NV48..yes but when..no one has an idea yet..maybe late q4 this year or soemtime q1 next year. and it is also rumoured that the nv48 will be pci-e native

and the nv 48 is rumoured to be manufactured on 110nm or 0.11 micron (mu) proces ;) not 0.11k
