And not watercooling, either.

The only option I'm aware of for alternative cooling on 6800s at the moment is the nV Silencer model for them.

BUT...I'm running an SFF PC, so that's just not going to work.

What other choices are out there?

eVGA makes a copper cooler for the reference 6800GT that cools a lot better than the cheap aluminum cooler that comes with it.

for as cheap as it is...i've really had no problems with mine. I've got my card OCed 60MHz and the temps are around 46 idle, 56 load. Give or take a few. eVGA did a good job.

Sure looks good....but....no fan? The card I'd be replacing the fan on is an XFX 6800nu - which does not use the 'reference' HSF cooling that eVGA uses, but a single-piece design.

I was thinking about this, anyway, and mounting some kind of fan TO it...but I'm not sure where or how I'd mount one? How large is the HSF, too?

I have a fan assembly if you want it. If your board has all the mounting holes that the 6800GT does, you could use it. If you want it just PM me your address.
