Does somebody has information or at least some ideas about what kind of GDDR ram there will be on next graphic cards?
nv48? r480? nv50? r500? r520?

What is the fastest speed for these gddr now? in april the fastest were the 1150Mhz with 256 bit of bus of X800XTpe, i hope that for decemebr there will be at least a 1600Mhz speedy ram :P

And about nv50 and r500? I think they will have 512 bit bus, but what is cheaper? a 2000mhz ram with 256 bit of bus or a 1000mhz ram with 512 bit of bus?

Is there some way to calculate how much bandwitch a gpu needs looking its fillrate?

Ciao :)

1.25nS modules were available for evaluation since Q1/04 maybe even before... as we speak, slower 1.6nS are available to OEM but only in moderate quantity and some people believe that the x800Xt/6800U shortage is because of the RAM.

I don't think that the cards in the next refresh cycle will have memory faster than 1200MHz

Some of samsungs 1.6ns memory chips got mislabeled as 2.0ns and I believe that a few lucky GT owners got them by accident. The memory on my GT will do 1.22Ghz without any signs of artifacting!
