Hello,
i was wondering if there is any way to make a bootable disk which gives you the option to boot from cd?

since i have a toshiba laptop, and i can't get into the bios....
i have tried everything... i have even opened it up to find a jumper or a battery....
but i found nothing...

i could only boot froom floppy...!

Sounds like you have a laptop you shouldn't be in possesion of.

How is a bootable floppy gonna help you if you can't get into bios? Best thing I can think of, is google for it. I've seen plenty of step-by-step guides and extractable images that create a bootable floppy with cd-rom drivers support.

you might want to try www.bootdisk.com
win95/98 bootdisks come with cd support

uh... why not just get the win 2000 or win xp/pro discs... and boot from there... easier? don reallli need the floppy now anymore.. .cheers

anyway... tat aside... don think u need a bootable device to get into bios?? its right at the beginning of the startup.. wrong buttons pressed? check ur laptop manual which button toshiba use?
