Is anybody using the NVIDIA nView Pop-Up Blocker? Does it work good and does it run another service in the background? I'm particuallary concerned of whether it creates another service always running in the background.
Why don't you just try it? It is easy enough to turn off if you don't end up liking it. It seemed to work pretty well for me when I tried it but I don't know if it adds another service or not. I was basically just playing around with it since I already had a pop-up blocker that I like. So, I didn't use it for long.

I've used it and I don't like it...it seems to block pages that aren't popups (such as clicking a link here that opens in a new window) and lets real ones through. I just suffer through the now mediocre-at-best Google bar and that alone.

Firefox's popup protection + Adblock extension = Browser HEAVEN.
No ads, no popups, don't even get ad related cookies much anymore. Never been happier. Adblock is godlike.
So where is this enabled/disabled? What driver set?
