Hi everybody!

I want to substitute my "idol" graphic card, Gainward Ti 4200.
I want to buy a graphic card <250 euros. My choice is between 6800le and 6600Gt. Which is better in performance? And all 6800le are moddable without problems to 12/16 pipelines and 6 vertex with rivatuner 15.2?

Finally if I'll buy a 6800le which is better? Gainward, Msi, Or Point of View?

Thanks, and sorry for bad english.

You probably won't be able to get a 6600GT - I imagine your system uses AGP if you're replacing an old card. But, to answer other questions:

"Which is better in performance?"
At standard specs, almost definitely the 6600GT. (When compared to an LE, not a NU)
"And all 6800le are moddable without problems to 12/16 pipelines and 6 vertex with rivatuner 15.2?"
Not all, but most. I've seen a couple that went to 8x1, 6vp, and a couple that went the other way to 16x1 4vp. It's just luck really.

Dunno which LE is the best.

Id go for the 6800le and soft mod it with rivatuner, if your lucky you can enable pipes so its equal to a 6800nu, and those cards ait bad, got one my self from poit of view and all pipes are enabled and the OC is great too

Mmm - I agree with EciDemon, really. The chances of getting a card that doesn't softmod is VERY slim with the LEs that are out there at the mo - and then you'll have an NU. Just be aware that there are no guarantees.

First off, 6800 LE has a 256 Bit memory interface which so much helps u in bandwidth limited situations..especially wrt to MSAA!!!

I would have to agree with MUYA. 256bit memory bus would give it a nice advantage plus the good chance of a softmod to regular 6800 speeds seals the deal.
