Here at the office, the Internet filter Websense is employed and it's blocking access to several sites I visit. Is there any sort of a workaround I can use to get to these sites without using "quota time?"
Unfortunately I'm limited to Internet Explorer running Mac OS 9.2.

try http://www.megaproxy.com if it isnt blocked!
If so there is other lesser known proxys out there that may do the job, you may even consider setting up a proxy on your home box!

I wander if one of those anonymous internet browsing sites would help.

After searching some other forums alot of people complain about it, they say this site is a 'known' websence workaround.

I found a workaround that, while it can be a pain, is acceptable to me. I go to www.proxy4free.com and do a trial and error of various servers on their list. I'm going to change the server each day to one of the top ones on their list, but so far it's been working great. I can now access sites that were restricted - EBGames, Shacknews and Halflife2.net. Thanks for the advice all the same. :)
