predictions wrt this matchup?
I am actually taking some time off tonite to watch this...

Was a horrible game by both teams. First it looked like the yankees had the thing won and it was a complete blowout but then they screwed up and let boston come right back and then boston screws up and lets them score 2 more runs of a hit that shouldve been caught. Any outfielder is taught to run back first then look back and not look while running. I bet if he would've put 100% effort into running towards the wall instead of consitrating on the ball so much he wouldve been able to make the play. I would hate to see the yankees in the World Series again and I truely believe that baseball is going downhill without the salary cap. They need to institute one next season so that dynasties are harder to come by and we dont have to watch the same team with over payed players win every freakin year!

mussina did well I thought... 7 perfect innings...
he got unlucky and then he started getting shelled...
nice comeback attempt by the socks but the yankees did their work well...

LOL. i hate bosox (im right in between the two teams, in ct, so its pretty bad here), and i really dont care that much about the yankee's anymore. its all about nfl (EAGLES!!!!)

Go Sox. I hope the Yankee's pitching doesn't have the same effect on the Card's bats in the World Series.
I am actually surprised the yankees starters have managed to out-pitch the sox pitchers by such an incredible margin thus far...
wow... both of them had perfect games going into the latter innings... simply brilliant pitching so far...
"flash" gordon has so far been the answer to the sox prayers, but rivera has done his job well...

that was a shalacking last night the Sox got...
and jeter hasn't even played all that well in the series...
matsui has been the man in both series so far... that man is on a mission... :eek:
