as anybody purchased/seen a review of one of these. the heatsink/fan solution looks well designed.

hmmm interesting looking heat sink. if it cools as well as it looks like it should then I'd say it's worth the price. Hell, it's only $20 cheaper than a BFG GT and those heatsinks suck.

Gigabyte tend to do interesting/good cooling solutions. My 6800 NU is passively cooled by their passive heat pipe solution and it does a fantastic job. No worries for me (at least) about a fan breaking at the wrong time.

That is a very sleek design. I hope all the other add in board partners follow up on this. Also, has anyone seen the evga pci-express 6800u on gameve here (http://www.gameve.com/gve/Store/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=VC-EVGA-057) . This is odd because it says it's in stock while they can't even keep the agp version in stock.

it looks copper, or colored aluminum, im colorblind :( but the heat pipes? NICE TOUCH, there is no reason why I THINK it wouldnt be better.

well, if leadtek does not come thru tomorrow on their exchange for my gt 'lite' then i am getting this little beauty.
