W00T!!!

Its not a big deal for me since im not buying anything like that yet, but if I have a decent income by the time the Nforce 4 comes out, this is very good news!

Look at those prices!

$190 for the 3000+
$235 for the 3200+

:drooling:

They will probably be sold out quick so get them while they are there :)

BTW, forgive me if this is already common knowledge... I check newegg at least once a day and this is the first ive seen of these chips on their site. Before this, Monarch Computer is the only company ive seen selling these.

Nice :) Personally I think I'm gonna wait for the 90nm 3500+. Anyone have any news on this chip?

It's out now, just not at Newegg.

Monarch has the 3500+ .09. That's also the one I have my eye on. :)

BTW, the price drop hasn't happened yet AFAIK so it might be a good idea to give it a couple more weeks before getting one of these. The 3200+ is supposed to get down to around $208.

i want the 90nm 3800+ :p

ya just to be different... bwahahaha

well if i could afford it...why does the price hike up so much from 130nm 3500+ to 130nm 3800+ . It's unbelievable....about double

Yeah there seems to be a bit of a gap there that they should fill.

Maybe you wont have to wait, you could reconsider (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=449778&postcount=1) to get 90nm Athlon 64 3000+ and overclock it to 3800+? :D

Newegg had them a week or so back, but they were hidden, and didn't show up on the processor page.

Gameve also has them, and I just ordered one from them yesterday! (3000+) :). They have the best price last I checked, at $185

Its because the site updates regularly and the URL changed... just search at the site, they should still be there.

Well, I just ordered the 3200+ 939 Skt .90nm CPU last night with the ASUS A8V Deluxe Mobo last night. From what research I've managed to get together, the 3000 does not overclock as high as the 3200. With that said, the 3200 can overclock to as much as the 3500 and a little more. The 3200+ 939Skt .90nm is supposed to run cooler and overclock better than the 754 3200.

Anybody ever ordered from Monarch Computers? I ordered everything from them since they had the best prices and had everything in stock. Thanks.

Well ASUS mobos years ago was excellent at overclocking but now it gain very little on overclocking and more on stability. MSI seem are excellent at overclocking but less on stability, I had MSI mobo in Nov 2001 and it just died on end of March 2002, that 5 months, not impressed.
