AMD 64 cpu and fx 5600

Just got this cpu and was wondering was thier anythign special I need to do to make sure I get maximum peformance out of my vidoe card? Oh the rest of the comp specs are bellow:

AMD 64 3000+
1 gig DDR 3200
geforce fx 5600 ultra 128mb DDR
Gigabyte k8 triton series board
Audigy 1 sound card
ATI TV VE
