I've grown tired of the extremely crappy ATI drivers so I'm switching cards, since I've not been following hardware for ages I'm wondering if this (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=58644) is a good choice :cool:
I sympathize with your ATI driver issues, it's the same reason I switched to Nvidia. And while I'm happy with my FX5900XT overall, the fact is even the very cheapest 6800 card will perform a lot better in DX9 games, shaders, high resolutions, and AA/AF. I highly recommend you stretch your budget and find the cheapest damn 6800 you can find, even if you don't mod it.
