Has anyone else tried this theme yet? I have it right now, but I wish they had used StyleXP instead of Object Desktop. I hate having to re-enable the theme every time I reboot my system, especially because it overwrites my setting in TweakUI to not have those stupid arrows on my desktop icon shortcuts.

While I love the theme overall, I'm going to go back to my old one because this is too much of a pain to manage. With StyleXP, it's set it and forget it. :(

But some of us don't have, nor want to spend $50 on the full version of that program just to use one theme so that's not an option.

From the help file:

By default, the WinStyles Desktop Manager is set to unload when you turn your computer off and must be restarted each time you restart your computer.

This wouldn't ordinarily be a big deal, however, each time I enable the theme, the program puts those stupid arrows on all my shortcuts and I lose my custom cursors. Is there any other way to get this to work more like StyleXP?

I don't have any shortcuts on my desktop so that doesn't bother me. It messes up my startbar though. It's really just the fact of having to enable it everytime I start windows

Someone needs to work on porting this theme to StyleXP. That program is so much nicer/easier to work with.

They certainly do, I cant use this theme because it is causing problems when I try to play the Ravenshield demo so I cant have the theme enabled if I want to play!!

I still prefer the good old uxtheme.dll patch over StyleXP... :p free, too.
