When I play a video or TV tuner overlay on my computer that is in a 16:9 format, it displays on my 16:9 projector (Panasonic PT-AE100) as if the signal it is recieving is 4:3. Thus I see the picture on my screen in the letter box format with black bars above and below the picture, and a distorted image thrown in to the bargain. Changing the aspect ratio on the projector doesn't help - either distorted or letter boxed or small (ie. wasting projector pixels).
I have exausted all the variables I can find in the driver settings under Full Screen Video Controls. So it seems the issue either arises with the my FX 5600 or with my N'Vidia settings.
Could anyone venture a little help please?
I have XP with a FX5600 with VIVO. I am running a forceware 66.xx driver.
My primary monitor is a Samsung 17" TFT LCD model SM171P (normal 4:3)
My projector is a Panasonic PT-AE100E (widescreen, 16:9 native)
Thanks
Christian
