So besides the 6800 non-ultra AGP available for about $270us, are there any plans for some econo-priced Nvidia cards for us AGP users? I noticed that the 6600 and 6600GT only appear to be available to PCI-E users :(

I'm happy with my FX5900XT, but I wouldn't mind having an Nvidia card with better AA/AF support if the price was right, say around $150us.

There will be AGP versions of the 6600. Look for the thread with the inno3D 6600. There's a pic of the AGP version (and it looks like cr** :D )

i read somewhere (can't remember where) that a 6800 with 8 pipelines was on nvidias agenda with 256 bit memory interface, if this is true i would wait for this card instead of buying a 6600gt

That 8pipe 6800 the 6800LE. Im not sure how easy they are to find, I think they are mostly just sold in prebuilt systems, like Dells.

Capt: True, but there are at least one or two companies who are releasing LEs to retail. I believe that Leadtek is one of them.

Edit: There ya go. The Leadtek 6800LE.

Small review:

Only Gainward has its 6800LE version for sale here. The price of 250 is still too much though.

PS. The first highlight of Leadtek caught my eye: "3x Faster than last generation FX5950".
- I guess Leadtek has made some lousy FX5950s. :p
