Was wondering if these new technologies (or re-invented in the case of SLI) that are being integrated into mobo's will actually take hold? Is there much of a possibility of the public resisting any of these and these tech's fading into the dust (beta, zip drives ..etc). Would hate to spend $$ on a SATA mobo and drive to find 2 years later everyone dropped or, worse yet a $400 PCI Express vid card that couldn't resell on ebay.
I know the future is impossible to predict but I'm sure most of you guys have a better crystal ball than mine. Anyways, any info or advice on this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Vanz
