Hi there,
i am a novice at this but recently purchased an external 120gb drive for my machine and am attempting to run it from USB.
When I plug it in the machine recognises it although it does throw up amessage warning me that it would run faster on USB 2.0 - I'm not too worried abou that at the moment.
the problem is that I can't find the storage device to access it. Device manager shows it connected to the USB port and working correctly. I have tried rfreshing the drivers??? it is supposed to be plug and play bt my knowledge stops here really can anyone help me out so i can transfer data to my new device.
