Here is the full review (not in english) http://twojepc.pl/artykuly.php?id=geforce_6600_gt&strona=1 .

If you don't want to mess with overclocking or sofmodding then go with the 6600GT. If you don't mind taking a risk the 6800LE could be modded to a NU. Now all we need is these cards in the U.S. market (or in AGP form in the case of the 6600GT).

Good Review! I was thinking of buying a 9800 pro for my second computer (because in Canada they're going for $280CDN) while the 6600GT is about $270CDN, but it seems to be top the ATI card with AA and AF turned on.

when does the AGP 6600GT come out?

Unbelievable how good the 9800 PRO is still considering it'S so old by now.

Not surprising considering the huge fillrate difference between the GT and 6800LE. Actually surprised the 6800LE is doing so well.

How big is the price difference, or will be, between the AGP version of the 6600gt and the 6800?

According to those figures, better to go for the 6800, even if it's the simple-ton.

Yeah but the 6800LE has alsmost twice the memory bandwith so i think the 6600GT is th better option if you don't use 4x AA & AF

I'd agree Daz, but my guess is that AF will become standard eventually, as shader effects and offset mapping become more and more commonplace. AF really is needed to make the bump maps really visible, otherwise at Trilinear lots of those sorts of effects tend to descend into "blurry texture" city.

The 6600GT has 16GB of bandwidth and the 6800LE has 22.4.

AF does not require as much bandwidth as AA. 1600x1200 w/ 16xAF is playable from what I have read. It only takes a hit when you factor in 4xAA.

Edit:

16xAF

16xAF + 4xAA

With no AA and 16xAF the 6600GT nearly doubles the 6800LE @ 16x12! Enable 4xAA and the 6600GT runs out of steam. Since I use 1600x1200 w/ 16xAF most of the time im fine with this.

Wow, pretty impressive really...and to be honest I'm totally blown away with just how fast the 6600gt is. 37fps in HL2 at 1600x1200 with AA/Aniso? Not bad! I remember a little over a year ago when people were saying that they were impressed that the 9700 was getting 60 FPS at vanilla 1024x768, now we can play games at over twice the resolution WITH the eye candy on for only a small hit to the framerate (wonder how much faster it would run in 2xAA...), and that's on a BUDGET card. Otherwise the 9800 still puts up a decent fight, although it lacks SM3.0 support and might not overclock as well as the 6600gt. I really do hope they'll release an AGP version soon, doesn't make much sense that you have to upgrade to an uber-expensive PCI-E motherboard just to be able to use a budget video card.
