Hi, I was just wondering after reading a forum discussion on slashdot if anyone here know about the failing rate for a ASUS MB.
It appears as if it's mostly ABIT that's affected by these problems originating from a faulty set of capacitors.

I would just love to se a article on nvnews or a official statement from ASUS concering these problems.

Here are some links for you to read up on.
Slashdot (http://slashdot.org/articles/02/11/04/1751210.shtml?tid=137)

I would surely pay another 50$ for a MB if I knew I was paying for the QUALITY of the MB.

If these happened recently, I haven't heard about it. The problem affects all MB manufacturers when it happens, not just one specific one. Abit has a fairly small user base relative to some, so it'd be much more noticable.

and yeah, I know that wasn't completely relevant, but thats me. Sorry.
