Hey all...

According to Spybot, I've got VX2, but it can't get rid of it, even when i run it on startup...

I tried ad-aware, but its vx2 cleaner says i don't have it.

Any help?

Also, is it vx2 or something else that makes ctrl+v do this:

heeeelllllp!

Oh and anyone know how to permanently block stuff like the advertising.com crap and things like that? My processor list always has webrebates0.exe and webrebates1.exe

on that same note, actually, anyone know of a good program to tell me what different processes do?

Thanks!

Well no idea about vx2, but in START type msconfig and go to startup , webrebates.exe hopefully will be there you can uncheck , or just do file search for those files and DELETE them , going to SafeMode can help with deleteing protected files.

When going to fishy sites :bleh: best to turn of cookies ect . and better yet don't use IE for that purpose and never ever accept to download stuff if you agree to let them install crap on your PC you screwd with trouble.

Wow, that program has some pretty powerful capability. The Google integration looks tight. Will definitely have to try this. :)
