That guy from OSNN.net (sorry, but I forgot your Nick...) said, that he can't leak 70.61 so I think we won't see these (well, he said the same about 70.41 ;) )

Beta: 71.20
Official: 62.10

Remember, Nvidia try to keep their driver extensions the same as their GPU model ie: Detonators 40.40's for the GeForce 4, 56.70's for GeForce FX (5), 6x.xx for GeForce 6

Not True. The first 4x.xx driver had support for the geforce fx. While they were not as optimized as the 5x.xx drivers, they worked well at the time. The 40 series was released to support the geforce fx.

Edit. Ok, it wasn't the first release but one of the earliest ones.

Yep. My FX 5900 came with the 44.03 driver. I tell ya performance and quality has come a long way since then. Even for the FX series (which is one reason why I still haven't upgraded to GeForce6)

I think, we'll see a 66.XX Driver when HLČ is gonna be released and the next one will be a 70.XX which isn't based on .NET. nVIDIA said that Forceware 70 Release won't be .NET-based.

As long as betas keep coming out I'll be happy. Its not like I'll be sticking with the official when it comes out anyways... I ditched 61.77 before it was even released as official. Most of you probably did too.

Official you say??

100.21 in Nov 2006, thats how long it will take for Nvidia to put out some official drivers on their website.

I change my mind, 61.XX will be next official, anything above 61.XX the dvd decoder is buggered.
