Need help choosing a monitor

I need some suggestions on a good monitor for my dad. He has pretty poor eyesight so it basically has to be a 20+ inches and a CRT because of price. In particular, sharp text is much more of a priority than how it displays graphics.

Any ideas or at least some links to reviews/roundups/etc?
