Contrary to a post on GURU3D there is no 70.61 driver available on NVD, I just checked.

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=112039

Those of you with access should not bother wasting your time looking - just a friendly heads up to my fellow developers.

Of course should it or any other build show up im sure someone will let you all know.

ttfn.

I don't think they will be released publically, or even beta tested for that matter.

NVD has been left behind concerning driver release, recently most of the new beta drivers were first available outside NVD.

My source isn't NVD ;)
But I don't have them and don't know any other than what I have already posted.

(ie good with unreal engine games but still have the VOC problems, which have since been addressed.)

NVD is **** for new drivers, oem's get new ones at least once a week, some bigger ones once a day! I wish nVidia would realize that some nvd users wouldn't mind 1 new driver a week, even labelled up as" beta", "do not use", "use only at your own risk", "could blow up your pc" etc.... :lol2:

Just be patient people. Its november already. I have a very good gut feeling that we will be seeing the next official driver within two to three weeks.

I think it's a safe bet to say that the new drivers will be released just in time for HL2.

Well then, as you may know NVD is divided into separate sections. It's there believe me. But just as Fly is, I am under NDA as well.

OK - I dont have access to the developer FTP, only the main site so I guess it could be else were :-)

maybe it will make its way to the main section sometime soon.........we normally get a RC a week or so before public launch.
