Hey, is it true that and AMD Athlon XP 2 GHz + processor gets so hot that it takes a table fan to cool it ? I've seen my friend doing the same. Or is it just enough to change the fan that comes with the processor?

Yep, thats why their in full production and AMD expects the average computer guy to buy them. :rolleyes:
Seriously, the stock fan that comes with them is enough to cool the CPU itself, but it could cause the other compenents around your CPU to get to hot. AMD CPU's can run perfectly stable at temperatures over 60c, that cant be said about every other peice of hardware in the system. Depending on your computer case's airflow you can get away with using the Stock HSF, but im alot of situations more powerfull HSF is recommended.

Heh, I know a guy that rigged up a 16" fan to the side of his case. :D
