View Full Version : Need advice on laptop GPU's

Ive been given a Compaq Presario 2100 and i would like to upgrade the graphics card and put more ram in it but i dont know where to look as ive never owned a laptop before.

Can anyone help??

can't upgrade GPU in laptop. Ram is special, have to get 'Sodimm', DDR or SDR depending on laptop

Agreed... Only a few Dell notebooks have been upgradable.
Now it is coming soon into some new notebooks.
Nvidia and some others are pushing for more upgradability in notebooks. :)
