All 9700 owners should get their behinds over to ATI's website (http://mirror.ati.com/products/pc/catalyst/dx9demos.html) and get these now.

Enjoy!

Edit: All demos work fine now. :)

I would like to check them out, but I don't think it's worth living with a beta DirectX just so I can view a few demonstrations.

Well, as expected, I became anxious and decided to check the demos out. They definitely looked incredible (although not QUITE as good after seeing Doom 3), but after I rebooted, I started getting some major graphical errors, so I reverted back to a restore point that I created right before I installed DirectX 9. Everything works great now, and it was worth the slight hassle to see the demonstrations. (Sorry, didn't bother to take screenshots, but if you have a 9700, check it out, just make sure to create a restore point if you have XP)

on a win2k box which is what I use for UTmod development. No issue found with new drivers. Demos look sweat. The car and the glob are cool to see the differences when the higher percision kicks in. The music/tubes one also we need. lots of motion blurr :) The fur was cool I suppose...didn't really get all jazzed about that one... oh well :) Still have a random stuttering in NOLF2 now other than that good drivers on Beta DX9 for me.

Agreed. The fur just doesn't look good IMO (especially around the ears). It's definitely not a life-like version of the hair on a bear's head. I must say that I really like the glass sphere demo though.

Well Demos not so impressive except for light Spheres looks very nice , stability and speed everything was crap 2000k less BUT becouse i had no SP1 installed after i installed it got all my points back and in some areas even better laot sometimes :D

Only annoying thing is Startrek Starfleet Command 3 will not run on Directx9 Beta or RC0 , Activision is to lazy to release a patch all they say we will not support beta releases of DX9  morans , all other games run just fine

I downloaded these drivers and DX9 beta also. The tech demos are great. UT2003 seems a bit smoother and you can enable a V-sync slider by a simple edit in the registry. No problems with these drivers either. :)

Everything is working fine for me, well except NHL2003. But that game always had problems. ;)

Cool demos.
I really think the Animusic one was awesome.
The car and the bear were ok...but they are just so short..the natural light was also very impressive.

So far the Dx9RC0, and the Dx9Radeon drivers have been fine for me so Ill stick with em.

No probs here either.

V-sync is a godsend, and God sent 3Danalyse to fix the stutter problem that some games have. :) ATI say they'll have the fix in the next driver (or the one after).

Rallisport is the only game so far I've seen to have the "stutter bug"
