I want to use FRAPS but it seems using FRAPS and 30fps kinda makes it looks really slow, is there any other program that can record ingame videos and is locked to the fps you get in the game? I want to do some clips the game dosent even fall below 60fps at 1024 4xaa8xaf but using fraps it brings it to a crappy 30fps making it relaly look like crap.

Is there any other program for these kinds of things?

you could hook up the TV OUT to a VCR and tape it, then play the VCR back through the TV IN into a video editing program.

O.o...i dont have a tv tuner card, i have tv out..no tv in :(.

I am sure there is another program, FRAPS in GW btw causes it to give 9fps.

you could just turn ur graphics right down to say 800x600, 4xAA 4xAF... Fraps'd run pretty sweet then.

The problem is Fraps force the fps to 30, which is what causes the thing to really show laggy.

Make a demo first and then use FRAPS.

If it's Half-Life 2, you can do startmovie name (then endmovie), list the TGAs in Bink, then Bink it, then mix-in sound, then convert to AVI/recompress. That's what I always do. 16xS AA/16xAF looks pretty good when Binked.
