Bush wins! (http://www.drudgereport.com/)
Repubs take 232 seats in the house for a bigger majority! (http://msnbc.msn.com/id/6291779/?GT1=5809)
Repubs take at least 52 and maybe even 55 senate seats! (http://www.foxnews.com/youdecide2004/races.html?SEN)

If we have Bush as pres, get 2 Supreme court appointments with hard conservatives within his term, and a republican senate and house, I will be unbelievably stoked.
Edwards quote tonight:
"We've waited four years for this victory. We can wait one more night"
Does he think we're this dumb?

We also picked up some governors.
A victory for the Republicans across the board it seems, so we are still continuing the trend towards Conservatism, and Liberalism is still dying a slow death.
It's a great F'ing day!
hahah bush has gotten more votes then any president in history and also he has won the majority of the popular vote .... heheh this is a truly great day

At this point, it's statistically impossible for Kerry to win. This rules. And this time you stupid ass liberals can't whine about him "stealing" the election. Ah, justice has prevailed!

I really hope you are right :D
It will be interesting to see what comes of the next 4 years. Let us hope (pray if you're the kind to believe in fairy tales) that there are as few unnecessary deaths as possible, and the world returns to some sanity. I don't think that the internet will allow that, however.

I just hope all these stupid ass, whiny, bleeding heart dip****s will grow up, get a job, and open their idealistic eyes to see how the world really works. I'm sick to death of posts like yours, Skrot. Your contention that soldiers' deaths were "unnecessary" reveals you to be grossly misinformed of the facts. This is of course moot, as we've had that discussion quite a few times. Go on believing it if you want. Anyway, unless you have something constructive to say, all you Aussie libs can go ahead and STFU now. And yes, I understand that my post was not at all constructive, so don't bother pointing it out. I know how much more thoughtful and intelligent you think you are.

What facts? How are those deaths necessary?

Why does the election always bring out people who have as much knowledge as the desk that my computer is sat upon.

Nice try, but we're not gonna beat that dead horse again.
And this one is for Tom Daschle:

I didn't claim I was knowledgeable... i was just asking how are those deaths necessary.
I'm sorry if I have a problem with a president that claims himself to be a "war president"

There is a search function that will show you dozens of threads to peruse through for answers, I don't have the patience to explain the same things over and over again :D

If you noticed, I didn't actually say anything about any particular war, any particular fight, any particular deaths. It is of course the obvious and sane thing to want as many unnecessary deaths as possible. Are you arguing that? I sincerely hope not.
I have never claimed that I am more thoughtful and intelligent than you are. Why would I? It doesn't prove anything. Are you in fact saying the same thing by implying that I was saying that?
I don't know jack all about politics, let alone American politics. For one thing I don't even know what liberal means.
One thing that's for sure is that I don't feel that it's a good thing that people who would act like you did in your post are part of the apparently most powerful country in the world.
Unnecessary deaths are quite... unnecessary.

If you have no idea about politics perhaps you should not engage in a political discussion because you have just admitted you do not know what you are talking about ;)

What facts? How are those deaths necessary?
The advent of the Internet has afforded the common man the opportunity to collect news and information from a variety of sources and come to his own conclusions about world events. This is important as a person who relies on only one type of news source, I.E. a newspaper, is greatly disadvantaged as he/she will know the news only as the paper's editor chooses to present it. In more cases than not, newspapers have proven that their idea of freedom of speech is to call our President an idiot and print misleading, false information about him. Do yourself a favor and read a lot of sources to get the whole picture when something happens, instead of blindly believing every anti-Bush news item you can consume. As for explaining facts to you, I believe there are hundreds of threads on this very board that do a great job of that. Happy reading!

Nice try. You knew what you were implying. Don't try to pull this usual liberal bull****.
One thing that's for sure is that I don't feel that it's a good thing that people who would act like you did in your post are part of the apparently most powerful country in the world.
Because, after all, every single person in America acts exactly like I do. I see you find that it's best to lump everyone into a single group in order to attack them more easily. That only works with liberals since they're all walking, talking cliches. ;)
