I'll leave this mostly for Uttar (whilst he's so good at it :) )

Just one point about the starting sound (which is REALLY wierd), if you reverse it it seems to say something about beware of *something* cameras from the (NV?) *something*. I haven't got any good sound software really (I'm using Sound Recorder :o ) so that's all I can pick up. Anyone else had better luck?

What did you have for lunch? :D

j/k

Um... supposed to be a 44k, 128kbps clip of that intro sound reversed and time-stretched by 0.5.

I think I have lost interest now that I have discovered it doesn't say "you have won an NV30, congratulations!".

Did anybody else think that the video started out like it was going to be a cheap porn flick? Not that I have ever watched a porn flick, but.... ;)

Edit: Did anybody else notice a quick nVidia logo flash on her left eye when the camera zooms in on her face? I couldn't quite make it out, but it was green and logo-ish appearing.

ghey, its apparent that nVIDIA didn't pick up some of the better marketing folks from 3dfx.

This is the single most stupiditst crap ive ever seen. I mean, how cheesy, funky, corny, gay, dumb, uncreative can a company get. But i must admit, nvidia must be really excited about the nv30, theyve never went this far with any other video card.

They captured the quint essential flavour of scary movie (tm) perfectly. It was crap and so it this...

But what are nV really trying to say? Have they just given up and are trying to make the Nv3x launch a funny\ludicrous thing or are they having a stab at ATi by saying that "look we can have a laugh about our launch because it doesn't matter, we're still going to kick your butt into the stone age"?

Who knows ;) who cares, and who's buying one?

Hopefully that isn't a representation of NV30 running Doom3. It made my head hurt!!!

That movie was soo lame. The guys sounds like he almost forgets his lines like three times. The NV30 better be really good because after seeing these video's I'm not sure I want to be affiliated with nVidia in anyway ;)

How much do we want to bet....

hmm.

That the final video will be a takeoff on an animated video, made with an NV30 sample....or NV30 emulation.

Why do they even consider this kind of little silly projects to expend their resources while every ounce of it could instead be contributed toward a proper marketing of NV30 (cold hard facts), I cannot for the life of me fathom. I think that NV30 specs can stand on its own and can spurn more than enough publicity than this little film.

LOL!!!! I think nVidia is just making fun of canadians (ATi) and having some fun, i think they have something under their sleeve that will kill ATi and they won't tell us 'till Comdex on Monday. Hopefully it's a $300 MSRP.

I liked the end of the video with the nvidia case. It is just like nvnews.net posted for a Halloween joke. I keep thinking was it really a joke but i don't care if it was or not. I guess supposely in the video that the NV30 was in that box.

There is an nvidia logo in in her eye, when the camera zooms in fast, is that where the 118 pixie is as well?

If someone knocked at my house and said that whole "It does matter what Graphic Cards... *bla bla bla* Accept no imitation!"...
I kinda wonder why nVidia insists so much on the "Our drivers are THE gold stanard" thing.

Sure, JC said that for their OpenGL drivers... But I wouldn't say it justifies using that in two videos... The first time, when Tyler said it, it was fun to see an employee being cried at because of that :) But two times in a row, it just isn't as good anymore.

As for hidden thingies...
Well, there's of course the pixies as said before in the post. The nVidia logo hidden in the woman's eye.

A little thing I didn't see anywhere else:
At 0:34, when the pixel goes away, the picture on the wall ALSO changes.
And, upon closer inspection, that picture seems to be a calender.
Or it may be that a light which was on it is turned off because the woman quits the room. It's hard to say with a so low mobie quality... "Broandband" quality isn't all that great - small details could possibly get away.

I'll try to look it closer tommorow, but I've got a lot of homework today...
