This belongs in the CPU's and Mobo's forum.

My guess is that these are designed for the nForce 4 just like the 6.11.

Im using the sound driver from 6.11 and it works great. So they arent just for Nforce 3\4. If I hear enough positive feedback im going to try these out :)

Do these work with nForce2 Boards? 6.11 didn't..

Had some problems with the sound driver but now everything runs fine for so far. Noticed a little performance boost in CS:S.

These installed nicely on my nForce 2 system. All from the installer. No manual installing needed for me. Awesome drivers alround.

The sounddrivers they are the best now i ever had before, no crackles and the eax in games works enjoyable great !!!
Some speed improvement noticed with loading of games, like in Farcry and Doom3, but the graphics speed is even lots better and i noticed more effects
now up in Farcry with my 6800 GT and Nforce 2 chipset!
Only 1 negative point found, defragment of the HD's seems having problems.

just a note: uninstall old drivers before installing these. i tried just installing these ontop of my old ones and my comp restarted itself.

audio is top notch in these drivers imo.

I didn't uninstall the old, also had the first install reboot issue. I installed twice and everything seems good.. windows seems a bit snappier with this version than the last offical.

Installed them on my Nforce 2 and 3 boards... I like them so far.

The audio does seem better on my soundstorm now. I wish my Nforce3 had one on it.

Anyone know if this driver fixes the input for Soundstorm? Just plug a mic or something into your mic\input jacks and see if it works at all. Input was totaly broken for me with any drivers from the past 6 months (no input what so ever... nothing). Lots of people have had this problem.

Mine has worked fine except for one time that I played with the jumpers to do front panel audio. Changing the jumpers will messup the mic/input lines.. scroll down http://www.motherboardfaqs.com/content.php?content.22 to see the correct settings.

Finally, a soundstorm driver that fixes the muffled messed up sound in Metal Gear Solid 2 PC and an Ethernet driver that fixed those stupid crashes. Had to revert back to the old 3.13 ethernet drivers because of those crashes but now it's perfectly stable with these.

I was using the previous beta nforce drivers, and finally got my PC joined to my speaker system at my new house, and switched to 5.1 mode, and got nothing. Spent ages checking connections, and reverted back to the official drivers and the sound worked. But my audio control panel is shafted.

Hope these work for 5.1 DD mode better than the last beta's. I have no net connection at home yet, so cant try.. :(

I dont have that motherboard, and Ive never touched the jumpers if my motherboard has them. My onboard sound works just fine, but I have no inputs at all. Nothing.

It isnt really a huge deal but its really irritating when I need to use my inputs, I just dont have them. Id really appreciate it if you guys with Soundstorm would test your line-in\mic inputs.
