I tried 66.70, 66.72 and it seems to be that when i use 61.77 the textures feel much crispier than the other 2 drivers.

I thought the 66.70's had really nice I.Q...have you tried the 70.41's-those are pretty good as well. I agree though, the 61.77's seem to have an edge over most-but the 70.41's have been really good in I.Q.

Most of the 66 series has terrible IQ when compared to the other sets (I have tried almost every driver that has been leaked). For best IQ use the 65.73.

I hear this all the time. I wish people would elaborate. I'm using 66.81's and I have no complaints and I've never really noticed a big iq change from one driver set to the other.

What is everyone referring to?

Its the mipmap transition quality (the cause of the shimmering). Even at high quality the mipmap transition sucks compared to the 65.73. I also recommend it because its faster than the official 61.77 and is almost bug free (no white lines in CS:Source).

Does 65.73 have stuttering in FarCry 1.3 like 66.xx?

No the farcry stuttering did not start until the 66.00. The only down side to these drivers is the OpenEXR HDR performance in FarCry, it sucks compared to the 70.41.

try 65.76, I found them much better than 65.73 which have the colour profile bug. other than that they are the same.

I'm mostly playing (well, ok,, I'm only playing ATM) Warhammer 40K and I've found no other drivers can compete with 66.81's. It's just very smooth and I'm able to play at the highest rez without AA or 12x10 with 4xaa (which looks incredible). I guess I'll wait till the next official release cause 66.81's smoke with Warhammer.

Anyone else?
