Mine runs at 60 in idle and 65 max after playing doom for more then 1/2 hour.
I have mine clocked at 330/801 idle and 380/801 3D. Also have 16 pipes and 6 shaders enabled.

Gt 6800 Pny Core 54c/ambient 34c, Load Core 63c/ambient 41c
45 - 48
Never seen it go higher than 48 yet.
Edit: Sorry, these are non OC temps.

BFG 6800 370/770 52C idle, 64C after exiting FarCry, UT2004, etc. Note that the gpu cools dramatically in a matter of seconds after exiting a graphics-intensive application. Running rthdribl and simultaneously watching the nv control panel temp, mine goes up to 81C and then drops to low 60's within 2 or 3 seconds of stopping the application.

6800GT @ 410/1100
around 60 when idle, up to 65 after a couple of hrs of gaming
Gainward gs GT @ 400/1100
GPU core temps :
idle 41-44 - 47,5 c (It once measured 39 when my room was chilly)
load < 59
My Golden Sample runs about 47C idle and mid 60's under load. You can only really tell your load temps with RivaTuner set to monitor and log the temps in the background because these cards cool off really fast when you exit a 3D app. Or you can run RthDrbl or ShaderMark with nV CPL Temp page open. :)
