One says starting with GF256, the other says TNT2... what gives?

(not like you can really game with these cards anymore, but it did catch my eye...)

Aww, my Diamond TNT2 Ultra says hi, and to say it works fine with low demanding games, such as emulators :)

The following cards are NOT certified with 66.93 WHQL

NVIDIA_NV04.DEV_0020.1 = "NVIDIA RIVA TNT"
NVIDIA_NV05.DEV_0028.1 = "NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro"
NVIDIA_NV05.DEV_002C.1 = "NVIDIA Vanta/Vanta LT"
NVIDIA_NV05.DEV_0029.1 = "NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Ultra"
NVIDIA_NV05.DEV_002D.1 = "NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 Pro"

Oh well, guess TNT users will have to use one of the other hundreds of drivers avail. to them.

There you go, they gotta cut total support for some products to get the majority of them supported well.

Actually no. They can install 66.93 because those cards are still supported. They just aren't WHQL certified for them, thats all.

who knows if the latest drivers increased or dropped performance with TNT2 ?

i see many says that after 1 year the next drivers lows the scares of the old genartion of cards, if this is true then why Nvidia still continu write they support them?

wouldn't be mor eintelligent say "these drivers are good just for this this and that?" ehe

i suppose because some people still use the older cards. they can't post a driver on their driver page that doesn't support all cards. if they did, people would be going "WTH these drivers don't work with my TNT2!!" lol
